Our undergraduate student success team is dedicated to assisting advertising, journalism, media studies and public relations majors in identifying career goals and creating a plan to achieve those goals. Students are encouraged to make appointments throughout their college tenure.

We have remote drop-in hours weekly and all our career services are available to you, even if you are not physically on the UO campus.

Undergraduate Student Success Center offers coaching on professional materials.

We offer three ways to connect:

  • In person: Visit drop in advising. No appointment necessary. These brief but impactful conversations are perfect for getting started. Note: drop-in career advising is not available weeks 7-9 due to peak registration.
  • Appointments (face-to-face or virtual): Get personalized assistance with your professional materials in real time. Schedule your appointment through Navigate or by calling our front desk 541-346-2884.
  • Quick review: For a fast and easy option, submit your resume/cover letter online. We aim to provide feedback within 48 business hours.
