Graduating seniors, see below for your commencement/graduation checklist. Don’t miss a step!
If you haven’t already, be sure to apply for your degree through DuckWeb. (Student Menu => Apply for Undergraduate Degree)
Can’t remember if you’ve done this already? Check DuckWeb. (Student Menu => View Degree Application Status)
When applying, select the term you expect to be done with all your academic requirements (general education or Clark Honors College requirements; and all declared major and minor requirements). This includes your thesis defense if you are in the Clark Honors College and/or the SOJC Honors Program.
This DuckWeb form tells the university, “I am done with everything. Award my diploma.” Once you apply for your degree, you won’t be able to register for subsequent terms. For example: if you apply for a spring degree, you won’t be able to register for summer or fall term.
- Spring 2020 degree: May 10, 2020
- Summer 2020 degree: July 19, 2020
- Fall 2020 degree: October 18, 2020
Accidentally applied for the wrong term? Email email@example.com from your uoregon.edu email address. Include your full name and student ID number and ask them to retract your degree application. Once retracted, log back into DuckWeb and fill out the same form again, this time for the correct term.
Eligible graduates who register by May 31, 2020, will receive a special graduation celebration box in time to help commemorate commencement day.
Fill out this online form by May 31.
Every SOJC commencement box will include two programs. Check to see how your name will be printed.
The deadline to make changes to how your name is printed is May 31. See https://sojcstudent.uoregon.edu/commencement-program-names/ for more information.
You have the opportunity to personalize your individual recognition slide for both the UO and the SOJC ceremonies.
See https://commencement.uoregon.edu/personalize-your-grad-slide for more information.
